Royal Nirvana is a developer of hotels, residences and resorts. Headed by British real estate developer and investor Tim Dean-Smith, the company's first projects are on Koh Samui, Thailand.
In 2002, the group purchased its first development site on Lamai Beach, opening the first phase of its luxury private pool villas to customers in 2004. In December 2008, Beach Republic will open on the water front. A superb Ocean Club offering fine dining, cocktails, spa treatments from around Asia, and a place to relax for the day and evening, Beach Republic will be the must-visit destination on Koh Samui.
In 2007 construction was started at Koh Samui Country Club, located in the tropical hills behind Maenam. With stunning views across the ocean to Koh Pha Ngan, the development offers a mix of luxurious hotel apartments, and exclusive Villa Residences, arranged around a Clubhouse which offers superb facilities.
Royal Nirvana is privately held, and is backed by private investors from Europe, including other members of the Dean-Smith family. The Dean-Smith family have been involved with real estate construction, development and investment since 1962.
